The world is in the midst of a series of challenges. Our governments and otherinstitutions are struggling to solve them from far away. Many of our care givers andessential workers are tired, sick, and have given up. Without significant budgets or other resources, people are having to be resourcefulto stay healthy, get educated, and care for others. It can't all come fromgovernments and organizations that are not in our neighborhood. It needs to comefrom folks that live local, understand local needs, and can muster local resources tohelp overcome the health and wealth barriers and challenges we are facing. We need a new labor force that pitch in right now at the level they are comfortablewith, and then advance their skills to become the leaders that fill the gaps and havethe energy and vision for the future. That force needs to be healthy and stay healthy, and understand barriers to keepinghealthy for themselves and their communities. They need to be a Force for HealthMember and join a movement of volunteerism, self help and personal responsibility, and servant leadership.W H Y A R E W E H E R E ?W E N E E D Y O U R H E L PTHINK GLOCAL! We are making a difference inlocal communities with Force forHealth Ambassadors andChapters, and are doing it all overthe world, we become a GLOCALresource. As we share our stories andresources in the Network, we canlearn what works and scale it andsupport it in other places. We Live it, Learn it, and Share it. We are a Force for HealthI D E A S W O R K B O O K
